Development of system technology for routine Be measurement in the JAEA-AMS-TONO

We have developed the fundamental system technology for routine Be measurement in the JAEA-AMS-TONO for applications such as the estimation of the exposure age of basement rocks and the sedimentation rates. We have successfully achieved the optimization of the detector required for discrimination between Be and B and have continuously obtained measured isotope ratios consistent with the nominal ratio.
